The NanoFANS program - Friends Advancing   Nano Science - is available for everyone.  NanoFANS are Associates of the Smalley Institute and participate in Rice University’s international leadership in nanotechnology by helping fund activities and research awards at the Institute.  All NanoFANS members receive advanced notice of seminars, scientific meetings, and Smalley Institute events.  Higher membership levels offer additional opportunities to support and network directly with our faculty and students.  Detailed membership benefits and levels can be downloaded for  Individual and  Corporate Membership.  To join the NanoFANS community mail or fax the completed membership form ( Individual or  Corporate), join online , or contact us at nanofans@rice.edu.

• The NanoFANS program is for individuals and for-profit companies/organizations.  Non-profit and academic groups should contact the Smalley Institute at nanofans@rice.edu for partnership opportunities.
• The Director of the Smalley Institute is available to visit with a company representative or individual for a half hour to help determine partnership opportunities with the Institute.  Additional visits require NanoFANS membership.
• Companies and organizations funding research through the Smalley Institute qualify for discounted membership rates.  Please inquire at nanofans@rice.edu.
